Die 15-jährige Mai is Zuko's feste Freundin, sowie die beste Freundin von Ty Lee und früher auch von Azula. Ihre Eltern sind sehr reich, sie und ihr kleiner ca. 1 Jahr alter Bruder Tom Tom (Ja, wie das Navigationssystem ;D) sind sehr gut versorgt. Auch Mai hatte eine komische Kindheit; sie hat zwar alles, bekommen, wa sie wollte, doch sie musste immer still sein und ruhig sitzen, da sie sonst Ärger mit ihrer Mutter bekommen hat. Deswegen fällt es ihr heute schwer, Gefühle zu zeigen. Dies tut sie nur bei Zuko, in den sie schon als Kind verliebt war. Mai kann nicht Feuerbändigen, dafür kämpf sie mit Wurfpfeilen.

That's why it's hard for her to show emotions today. She only does to Zuko, which she loves since she was a child. Mai can't firebend, but she fights with darts.
